Edible Arrangement...
This is mine and the boy's second try at making a fruit bouquet. Sorry the pictures are dark. I was going to put them where I could get better lighting and the batteries went dead on the camera. I'm always messing something up! LOL
Diaper Cake...
This is a diaper cake that I made to use as a center piece for the gift table at Gusty and Melissa's baby shower. It also doubles as a gift for the new parents and baby. Everything on it can be used.

Caterpillar...
Aunt Pearl brought the boys this awesome caterpillar that she found while she was out on her 4 wheeler. He is about 4 1/2 - 5 inches long and bigger around than my thumb! He is gorgeous too! With orange, yellow and blue spikes. We did some searching on the web and found out that he will change into the Cecropia Moth. Which is one of ( if not the) largest moth in North America.

The boys put him in a bucket with limbs and leaves from a Birch, Maple, and Wild Cherry tree. This morning it started to make it's chrysalis (cocoon) in the Cherry branch! We'll take pictures as it progresses. And we're hoping that we'll be able to observe and take pictures when it emerges as a moth next spring!
1st UPDATE
This picture was taken Tuesday night at 9:00. He has all the leaves pulled together. And you can see the silky strands real good now.
This was taken at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. He has completely enclosed himself.
The boys and I really miss seeing the little guy!
2nd UPDATE
Thursday Morning
This morning his silky white chrysalis had turned to a dark brown.
It kind of reminds me of the skin of a kiwi. lol
My Little Actors...
My boys were in a play!
HCTC Greater Hazard Area Performing Arts Series and Missoula Children's Theatre presented The Amazing Adventures of Robinson Crusoe!Frank and Robert were cast as Marty & Marty the Limbo Dancing Turtles! This was an awesome experience for the boys and me! All the children auditioned on Monday evening and on Friday and Saturday they performed a full length, hour long, musical! They all did a fantastic job!
The Missoula Children's Theatre provides a week-long residency "starring" 50-60 of your local students in a full-scale musical. MCT has been touring for more than 30 years. Annually, MCT visits nearly 1,200 communities in all 50 states, 4 Canadian Provinces and overseas. Our mission is the development of lifeskills in children through participation in the performing arts. Creativity, social skills, goal achievement, communication skills and self-esteem are all characteristics that are attained through participation in this unique and educational project. Our team of two professional tour actor/directors arrive in your town with scenery, costumes, props, make-up and basic lighting—everything it takes to put on a play . . . except the cast.
This week-long residency begins with an open group audition and culminates in two public performances. Fifty to sixty students grades K-12, or a combination of these ages, are cast and well rehearsed throughout the week, learning lines, songs and choreography to perform as an ensemble in producing a full-length musical. All of our shows are original adaptations of children's stories and fairytales—a twist on the classic stories that you know and love. http://www.mctinc.org
One of our creations...
Playdough!
We made playdough this morning. It turned out great!
We had to borrow food coloring from Aunt Becky (we're always borrowing things from her) She also gave us these great air tight containers. She buys Uncle Stephens lunch meat in them and saves them. She says that she will keep us in containers! Thanks Aunt Becky!!!
2 cups warm water
2 cups flour
1 cup salt
2 table spoons vegetable oil
1 table spoon cream of tartar
combine ingredients. Cook on low heat stirring constantly until it's the same consistency of thick mashed potatoes. Remove from heat.
When it has cooled to the touch, kneed dough vigorously until smooth. Divide into 4 balls and add food coloring. Store in air tight container or ziplock bags.
NOTE: If your dough is sticky you didn't cook it long enough.
The first time I tried this, I didn't cook it long enough. It was a big mess! Had to throw it out.

I Think I'm Ready To Blog!
Wow! I keep forgetting that I started this Blog Site!
I started it in July of 2010 and this is the first time that I've returned to post.
For a long time I've wanted to be a blogger. I've seen blogs that others write and I'm often saying, "Oh, I wish I could come up with interesting things to talk and blog about.". The truth is, I am not good at writing, or even expressing myself verbally. I find it very difficult to communicate to others how I really think, or how I really feel about things. But just because you find something to be difficult doesn't mean you shouldn't try! I may never become a good blogger, but I can be a blogger. So, here I am!
In my introduction I talked about how I was going to embark on a journey to better health and fitness. I am happy to say that I have been doing just that! I discovered BeachBody in home fitness programs early last year. I also have been eating healthy; ridding myself of junk and processed foods. I make a point to drink plenty of water daily and I also drink at least one Shakeology a day! Shakeology is an awesome nutritional meal replacement. Go here if you are interested in learning more about it: Shakeology
I have had great results with BeachBody products. in fact, I am so impressed with their products, and the company itself, that I have become an Independent Team BeachBody Coach!!
It's awesome when you can get into shape, help others, and get paid too! Who would have ever thought it!?
The first program that I completed was Chalean Extreme. I then went on to complete INSANITY. I did 1 1/2 months of P90X but fizzled out because I wasn't properly fueling my body to be able to keep up with the program. I love the program, the workouts are awesome, and I do plan to go back to it in the future. I am currently doing TurboFire. I just completed my second month and I am loving it! I am also in my 4th week of a 30 day Brazil Butt Lift program. Which is awesome!
Here are my "Before" pictures for Brazil Butt Lift. Which also serve as my "30 day" pictures for TurboFire.
I can't describe how wonderful the results of my new lifestyle have been mentally and emotionally! The positive impact on my self esteem and confidence have been truly amazing. My fitness level is better than I could have ever imagined too! I am physically able to enjoy my children, grandchild, and my life!
Since starting this journey I have had a couple of firsts. I went Zip Lining, rock climbing, and rappelling! I totally enjoyed each of those adventures! I am looking forward to MANY more in the future!
Well, this serves as an overview of what's been happening since last July. I have more to talk about such as the fact that I'm trying to teach myself to run, and I have a new Body Bugg to help keep me on track!
But, I'll save all that for another post...
